A scaffolding outfit built on turning up
Macca Scaff Limited works across the King Country and Waikato putting safe access on residential, commercial and construction sites. No call centre, no runaround, no surprises once the gear is on the ground.
Local, hands on, and easy to get hold of
We are a scaffolding contractor based in the middle of the country we work in. That matters more than it sounds.
When you ring, you get someone who knows the roads between Taumarunui and Hamilton, knows what the wind does on an exposed King Country site in August, and can tell you straight away whether we can get to you this week or not.
We take on everything from a single-storey re-roof through to staged commercial programmes that run for months. The size of the job changes. The way we run it does not.
Four things we do not budge on
None of this is complicated. It is just the stuff that goes wrong on sites often enough to be worth spelling out.
If we book it, we turn up
A scaffold that arrives two days late costs you more than the scaffold does. If something moves, you hear it from us first, in time to shuffle your other trades.
Safe means usable
Full decks, proper edge protection, clean ties and sensible access points. Access nobody wants to climb is not safe, it just looks it.
Tidy on, tidy off
Gear stacked out of the way, offcuts and packaging gone, driveways and footpaths kept clear. Your site should look the same as we found it.
You deal with one person
The person who quotes the job is the person you ring when something changes. No account managers, no being passed around.
We are a HazardCo member
Our health and safety runs through HazardCo, so site safety plans, hazard boards, toolbox meetings and incident reports are all kept in one place rather than scribbled on the back of a docket. If a main contractor wants our paperwork before we come on site, we can send it through.
King Country and Waikato
We have deliberately kept our patch to two regions rather than spreading across the North Island and letting the service slip. It means shorter travel, quicker alterations when a job changes, and someone who can actually get back to your site the same week.
